This giant fish sculpture is constructed only using discarded plastic bottles on Botafogo beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the UN Conference on Sustainable Development.  It is also illuminated from the inside and looks amazing at night.  Click the jump to view more photos.

  2. They should make the lights solar powered and claim it a green art, that would just add more epic to it.

  3. I think these are amazing! Thank you for sharing these photos. I liked the post so much I decided to reblog. First time for everything and more recycling!

  4. Saw these fish sculptures on Keith’s blog mid20thcenturyman and thought that they are beautiful but also make a political point about environmental issues. I’d like to know who made them, any ideas?
